Meet the team. Start your journey.

When you commit to Tri, you become part of a community of others who share your passion. The triathlon journey for many is a personal one, yet dynamically enhanced by supporters who encourage, train and educate along the way. Meet your cbdMD Escape to Miami Triathlon Ambassadors who hail from our Life Time Fitness clubs and celebrate the endurance lifestyle known as triathlon. They are rooting for you and hope to meet you along your journey.

Nicole Clark

I am a former Division I softball collegiate athlete and have had a love and passion for endurance sports ever since. I’ve always been involved in sports, so it was a natural fit to get into personal training, which I have been doing for the past 12 years. To compliment my passion and profession, I started a women’s running group in 2009 that branched into an endurance training group for runners and triathletes. My goal is to inspire, educate and motivate individuals to create a healthy way of life whether it is to run a 5K, lose 40 pounds or cross the finish line of a sprint, 10K or IRONMAN.

Christina Kowalewski

Life Time Athletic Boca Raton
I have been swimming competitively since I was very young and started teaching swim lessons more than 15 years ago. I still love coaching and teaching clients to swim and perfect their stroke as well as seeing first-time racers complete in both triathlon and running races. It’s fun to get others hooked on the enjoyment of racing. I have completed several half IRONMANs and one full IRONMAN so far. My favorite races are half marathons, which my PR is 1:48. My goal is to continually improve my 13.1 time as well as encourage all of my clients to try at least one race!

Laura Ryan

Life Time Athletic Syosset
I started my career as a Registered Dietitian at University Hospital at Stony Brook. After 10 years, it was time for me to begin working in the field that I went to school for, Sports Nutrition. When Life Time Fitness opened in Syosset, New York, I jumped at the opportunity to take a position as a nutritionist, personal trainer and Endurance coach. I have trained people for their first 5K all the way to IRONMAN and have such a feeling of accomplishment seeing my clients reach their goals, as their goal becomes my goal! I have completed in triathlons for more than 12 years, am a three-time IRONMAN finisher and have completed nine marathons (Boston qualified three times).
